Adjunct World

A site for part-time faculty

The faculty development committee at MCTC is charged with designing and implementing the activities on the contractual faculty development days (such as Opening Days). It is a group of volunteers, convened by the CTL leadership, Jake Jacobson and Linda Russell. We invite you to join us!

This committee meets once per month (Sept., Oct., Nov., Jan., Feb., Mar., Apr. and once in July at Linda's house). We understand that individual schedules sometimes make it difficult for interested instructors to actually attend our meetings, and so we also invite you to either meet with Linda and Jake separately or to call or email your ideas to us. We will incorporate your suggestions as best as possible.

You may always email the CTL (ctl@minneapolis.edu) with your questions or suggestions about many aspects of faculty development at MCTC.

Thanks Linda. It's great to "get the word out" about ways in which adjunct faculty and others can participate, meet other faculty and find support.
